The Department of Dermatology of Suzhou Mingji (BenQ) Hospital is an innovative department integrating medical and surgical dermatology, oriented toward all-round specialty development, with its professional setup becoming increasingly complete. The department currently has 6 physicians, including 4 with senior titles and 3 with master's degrees. It has fairly rich experience in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of various common, frequently occurring and difficult skin diseases. Over a long period the department has attached importance to discipline construction and development, with particular emphasis on solving patients' practical problems; its services cover skin diseases, allergy testing, medical cosmetology and sexually transmitted diseases. At the same time it attaches importance to improving the level of research, regularly participates in provincial and national dermatology conferences, and conducts academic exchanges with peers, promoting and applying new skills so that the department's professional and technical level has improved greatly.

Considerable progress has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis, vitiligo and melasma, allergic skin diseases, hair loss and acne, with skin surgery and pathology, electric ion treatment, cryotherapy and other examinations and treatments available.
