Urology

The Department of Urology of BenQ Hospital Suzhou is a teaching base of Nanjing Medical University and the School of Medicine of Soochow University. It currently has a specialized urology ward, an extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy treatment center, a urodynamics examination room, and an endoscopy examination room; it offers a specialized urology outpatient clinic and a urology specialist outpatient clinic, as well as 24-hour urological emergency services and 24-hour extracorporeal lithotripsy treatment. The department has VIP wards and single-, double-, and four-bed rooms to meet the needs of different patients. The department is equipped with modern advanced equipment, including an Aikeman cystoscope, a wolf ureteroscope and vesiculoscope, an Olympus electronic flexible ureteroscope, a German Wefulai holmium laser, a green laser, and a Stoze laparoscope. It currently has 7 urology physicians: 2 chief physicians, 1 associate chief physician, 2 attending physicians, and 2 resident physicians; 2 hold doctoral degrees, 4 hold master's degrees, and there is 1 doctoral supervisor and 1 master's supervisor, forming an excellent professional technical team with strong technical expertise, a rational structure, distinctive characteristics, and integrated medical care, teaching, and scientific research.
