The Department of Geriatric Medicine (Geriatrics) is a key clinical department that our hospital is prioritizing for development. It currently has 4 chief physicians and 30 approved beds. The Department of Geriatrics mainly admits elderly patients over 60 years of age with common geriatric diseases, such as hypertension, various heart diseases, various cerebrovascular diseases, senile dementia, diabetes, chronic pulmonary diseases, chronic gastrointestinal diseases, chronic kidney diseases, chronic anemia, malnutrition, and other geriatric diseases. The particular expertise of our hospital’s Department of Geriatrics is the diagnosis and treatment of geriatric neurological and renal diseases. The Department of Geriatrics has a highly efficient nursing team, including geriatric specialist nurses. The Department of Geriatrics integrates the diagnosis and treatment of geriatric diseases, nursing care, rehabilitation, nutritional support, prevention, health education, and recreation into a unified whole, establishes health records for patients with geriatric diseases, and safeguards their health and longevity.
