The Department of Thoracic Surgery of Nanjing BenQ Hospital is one of the hospital’s key departments for development. At the end of 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China as a participating institution in the National Clinical Key Specialty Construction Project, and in 2017 it passed the acceptance assessment. After more than ten years of effort, it is gradually developing into a thoracic disease diagnosis and treatment center characterized by minimally invasive thoracoscopy.
