The Enterocutaneous Fistula and Intra-abdominal Infection Center of Nanjing BenQ Hospital is a specialty center that the hospital has made a priority. The center has 120 open beds and treats more than 1,000 patients with difficult and critical conditions from across the country each year on average. By building a professionally structured diagnostic and treatment team and integrating expertise in critical care medicine, clinical nutrition, medical imaging, clinical pharmacy, and other fields, the discipline has established a regular multidisciplinary collaboration (MDT) model.
