Beijing Tiantan Hospital is a public Class A tertiary general hospital led by clinical neuroscience and a national center for neurological diseases. Its International Department opened in 2018 as one of Beijing’s first international medical reform pilots and occupies a separate building with outpatient and consultation centers, 150 beds, ICU, operating rooms and imaging.

Beijing United Family Hospital, opened in 1997 in the Lido/Jiangtai area of Chaoyang District, is the flagship private hospital of the United Family Healthcare network. Boao Super Hospital is a state-holding tertiary general hospital and the first hospital to open in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, operating since 31 March 2018 with 150 open beds. It runs a '1+X' shared-platform model hosting 23 academician- and expert-led clinical teams, and has introduced 189 licensed drugs and devices (特许药械) approved abroad but not yet registered in mainland China. The website is in Chinese only and no dedicated international patient desk is published.

Grade 3A municipal hospital founded in 1947 as the Dalian Sino-Soviet Hospital; it describes itself as the first foreign-related hospital directly under the city. Its International Medical Department has an outpatient clinic on the 1st floor of the outpatient/emergency building, an inpatient ward on the 8th floor, and a 24-hour phone line; the department page is bilingual Chinese/English.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University (founded 1973, renamed in 2024 after the university's upgrade) is a 3A general hospital in central Haikou at 31 Longhua Road, with a second campus under development in Jiangdong New District. It has 8 national key clinical specialties including oncology, neurology, spine surgery and respiratory medicine. Contact channels are the hospital phone, an appointment line and a one-stop service desk; no international department is published.

Large teaching hospital of Harbin Medical University with Nangang and Qunli campuses (Nangang address shown). Guangzhou United Family Hospital opened to patients in 2018 at 31 Pazhou Avenue in Haizhu District. The hospital has a total building area of over 60,000 square meters and more than 100 beds, delivering services from internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics to TCM and 24-hour emergency care, with intensive and neonatal intensive care units, a birthing center and full radiology including MRI and CT. It direct-bills most major insurance carriers and publishes WhatsApp and WeChat contact numbers alongside the group's 24-hour service center.

Haikou People's Hospital (Haikou Affiliated Hospital of Central South University Xiangya School of Medicine) is a 3A general hospital on Haidian Island with about 1,868 open beds, rated A in the 2022 national tertiary public hospital performance appraisal. It is the only hospital in this directory's Haikou set that publishes a dedicated English-language international clinic phone line (0898-66151024). Equipment includes a da Vinci surgical robot, PET-CT and 3.0T MRI.

Ruijin Hainan Hospital (Hainan Boao Research Hospital) is the only public hospital in the Boao Lecheng pilot zone, built by the Hainan provincial government with Shanghai's Ruijin Hospital as the output hospital; phase one has 500 approved beds. It was approved as a fourth-batch National Regional Medical Center project in October 2022 and focuses on oncology/hematology, cardio-cerebrovascular/metabolic and neuroscience discipline clusters. By end-2023 it had introduced 85 licensed new drug and device projects, and it is connected to the national medical insurance platform for cross-province settlement.

Sanya Central Hospital (Hainan Third People's Hospital) is the only large general 3A (三级甲等) hospital in southern Hainan, located at 1154 Jiefang Road in central Sanya with 1,800 budgeted beds. The city health commission profile lists a foreign-related medical services department (涉外医疗服务部) and a 24-hour emergency green channel. Its official website was unreachable from abroad, so no direct contact channel could be verified.

Major teaching hospital of Harbin Medical University. It opened an International Medical Center in early 2025, located on the 6th floor of its national emergency medical rescue base building, staffed by teams described as having strong foreign-language skills and offering multidisciplinary, one-stop care. The centre presented at the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services.

The First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province, founded in 1939, is a large public general hospital in Kunming affiliated with Kunming University of Science and Technology. Its International Medical Department matches international patients with specialists, arranges multidisciplinary consultations, provides bilingual staff throughout the visit, and issues Chinese–English medical summaries and bills. An East Campus is being opened in phases with an international health-management centre planned.

Xuanwu Hospital is a public Class A tertiary general hospital focused on neuroscience and geriatrics, hosting the National Center for Neurological Disorders. It runs a VIP clinic (特需门诊) with its own registration, payment, lab, ultrasound and pharmacy windows, mainly by appointment. No separate international department contact was found.
