The Hainan hospital of the Chinese PLA General Hospital (the Beijing '301' hospital system) is a military-run public hospital in Sanya's Haitang Bay area. The Sanya municipal patient guide lists it at 80 Jianglin Road, Haitang District, with enquiry hotline 96301. No international patient department or English services are published on sources we could verify.

Sanya Central Hospital (Hainan Third People's Hospital) is the only large general 3A (三级甲等) hospital in southern Hainan, located at 1154 Jiefang Road in central Sanya with 1,800 budgeted beds. The city health commission profile lists a foreign-related medical services department (涉外医疗服务部) and a 24-hour emergency green channel. Its official website was unreachable from abroad, so no direct contact channel could be verified.

Sanya Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a public 3A TCM hospital at 106 Fenghuang Road, Jiyang District, and a national TCM service export base. Through its Sanya International Friendship Sanatorium and international TCM centre it has served over 130,000 foreign guests from more than 40 countries — historically with a strong Russian clientele — offering acupuncture, tuina, health check-ups and TCM wellness programmes with interpreters and standardized pricing for foreign patients.

Sanya People's Hospital is the municipal general hospital at 558 Jiefang Road, Tianya District; since June 2021 it has been run in depth by West China Hospital of Sichuan University as 'West China Sanya Hospital'. The government public-service profile publishes its phones, fax, email and official website. No international department is published.
