The Department of Stomatology of Zhejiang Hospital was established in 1955 and currently consists of three parts: the Department of Stomatology at the Lingyin Campus, the “Oral and Dental Implant Center” at the Sandun Campus, and the Department of Stomatology at the Provincial Government Building. Among these, the “Oral and Dental Implant Center” at the Sandun Campus is equipped with 32 comprehensive dental treatment chairs, including 22 independent treatment rooms, 1 comprehensive large treatment room, and 2 outpatient operating rooms; the Lingyin Campus has 11 comprehensive dental treatment chairs; and the Department of Stomatology at the Provincial Government Building is equipped with 2 comprehensive dental treatment chairs. The department’s total clinical space exceeds 1,800 square meters. The department is equipped with internationally top-tier comprehensive dental treatment chairs, has a digital oral implant operating room, and possesses a range of advanced equipment, including Straumann and ANKYLOS oral implant systems, EMS and SATELEC painless periodontal treatment systems, a Fotona dental laser treatment device, a Silfradent ultrasonic bone cutter, Zeiss and Leica dental surgical microscopes, a warm gutta-percha root canal filling system, a painless local anesthesia device, and a MELAG disinfection and sterilization system. At the same time, the department places emphasis on introducing the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies from China and abroad, and is committed to the diagnosis and treatment of common, frequently occurring, and difficult oral diseases, providing every patient with optimal diagnostic and treatment plans and personalized services.
