The Physical Examination Center of our hospital is qualified to conduct occupational health examinations for workers exposed to hazardous chemical factors, workers exposed to dust, workers exposed to hazardous physical factors, workers exposed to hazardous biological factors, and personnel engaged in special operations. 　　The Physical Examination Center currently has 3 chief physicians specializing in occupational diseases, 7 deputy chief physicians (also serving as directors of the respective occupational disease departments), 7 attending physicians specializing in occupational diseases, 8 resident physicians, 30 nursing staff members, and more than 10 other medical technicians and physicians specializing in special examinations. The Physical Examination Center has a total floor area of more than 900 square meters. It is equipped with a dedicated soundproof room for pure-tone audiometry, an electromyography room, an electroencephalography room, an ultrasound room, and other facilities. Examination areas, office areas, and laboratories are independently arranged. The center is equipped with a large number of examination instruments and devices, including the SpirolabII portable pulmonary function tester, GSI17 audiometer, FX-7500 electrocardiograph, Philips MCMD02AA-B B-ultrasound system, Mewo S350 slit-lamp microscope, and Mewo AP-100 perimeter. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of occupational health examinations and better conduct occupational health examination work, the hospital also has supporting facilities, including a physical and chemical laboratory, clinical laboratory, biochemical laboratory, Department of Special Examinations, and Department of Medical Imaging. The laboratories are equipped with various biological material testing instruments, including the American PE AAnalyst 600 atomic absorption spectrometer, ICP, ICP-Ms, ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer, liquid chromatograph, heavy-metal dissolution analyzer, and F732——V mercury analyzer, as well as advanced equipment such as a fully automated blood biochemical analyzer, radioimmunoassay analyzer, color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic instrument, and paperless computerized electrocardiographic analysis system. The Physical Examination Center uses a fully computerized information-based physical examination and office system, achieving paperless and information-based occupational health examinations and placing it at the forefront of occupational health examinations throughout the city. 　　The Physical Examination Center has 2 mobile digital chest-radiography examination vehicles, which also carry examination equipment such as a dedicated soundproof room for pure-tone audiometry. For the convenience of enterprises and public institutions, the examination teams under the center can provide on-site services to enterprises and public institutions. Examination programs include regular occupational examinations for workers currently on the job, pre-employment examinations, and pre-departure examinations. In addition, the center also offers health examinations, including specialized programs such as general screening for pulmonary tumors. The Physical Examination Center makes every effort to meet the requirements of all examinees. For groups of 10 or fewer examinees, no appointment is required; examinations are available upon arrival. 　　The Physical Examination Center has an independent examination area. The center possesses modern, high-end medical equipment and integrates physical examinations, physicochemical examinations, and functional examinations; it has a senior professional team with extensive clinical experience and an advanced information-based system. Focusing on occupational disease prevention and control, the Physical Examination Center, together with our hospital's Occupational Health and Radiation Protection Testing Center, provides enterprises and public institutions with occupational health services and health examinations as an integrated service, including the detection and assessment of occupational disease hazard factors, preliminary assessment of occupational disease hazards in construction projects, and assessment of the effectiveness of occupational disease hazard control in construction projects. This helps enterprises reduce costs.
