Fourth Outpatient Department
The Fourth Outpatient Department of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School (Nanjing Stomatological Hospital) was established on July 26, 2008. It is located on the first floor of Baitong Apartments, No. 43-5 Gaojia Village, Hongshan Road, beside Exit 5 of Maigaoqiao Metro Station. The medical premises cover nearly 400 square meters. All medical and nursing personnel are centrally selected and assigned from the main campus of Nanjing Stomatological Hospital. Standardized management is implemented under unified hospital identification, unified quality standards, and unified service standards. The outpatient department’s registration and payment systems are interconnected with those of the main hospital, and unified fee standards are applied. It is a designated institution for provincial and municipal publicly funded medical care and medical insurance. It is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of high-quality medical equipment, including 8 high-end dental treatment chairs, a digital panoramic X-ray machine, a fully digital dental X-ray machine, a digital intraoral scanner, an implant machine, an intraoral imaging plate scanning and processing system, a digital microscope, a warm gutta-percha device, a root canal measuring device, a nickel-titanium root canal treatment device, an air-polishing machine, an EMS dental scaler, a local anesthesia device, a thermal condensation device, an LED light-curing unit, and more. The techniques currently available include three-dimensional root canal obturation using warm gutta-percha, complex root canal treatment, dental implant techniques, MRC functional appliance therapy, MBT orthodontic treatment, orthodontic treatment using microimplant anchorage, extraction of impacted teeth, root planing, complete denture restoration, fixed denture restoration, and more. Imported cleaning and disinfection equipment has been introduced, and, in strict accordance with the standards of the National Health Commission, the principles of “one handpiece per person” and “one disinfection per person” are implemented, effectively preventing cross-infection in dental care. All oral diagnostic and treatment instruments and materials are high-end products selected from well-known domestic and international companies, ensuring the quality and safety of medical care. The Fourth Outpatient Department offers a comprehensive range of dental medical services and has a strong technical team, including multiple associate chief physicians and senior attending physicians, many of whom hold master’s degrees and possess extensive clinical experience and outstanding medical expertise.
