The First Outpatient Department of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School (Nanjing Stomatological Hospital) was established on September 20, 2006, and is located at No. 139 Daguang Road, Qinhuai District, Nanjing. The First Outpatient Department adheres to the service mission of “entering the community, serving the public, creating a high-quality dental practice, and building harmonious healthcare,” with the development goal of “establishing a modern southeastern Nanjing dental medical center.” It extends the dental medical resources of a tertiary Grade A hospital to the community. The First Outpatient Department offers a comprehensive range of dental medical services, covering endodontics and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and dental implantology. Its one-stop oral diagnosis and treatment service enables patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their oral health at the earliest opportunity and provides the best solution. The First Outpatient Department has strong professional capabilities; all medical and nursing staff are selected from the hospital’s main campus, have extensive clinical experience, and possess excellent medical skills. The department includes 4 chief physicians, 4 associate chief physicians, 2 attending physicians, and 8 staff members with master’s degrees. The First Outpatient Department is equipped with advanced medical devices, including 18 high-end imported comprehensive dental treatment chairs, a digital radiographic imaging system, a digital intraoral scanner, a microscope-assisted root canal treatment system, a thermoplasticized gutta-percha treatment system, a dental implant machine, and other advanced equipment. The department is equipped with professional cleaning and disinfection equipment and, in strict accordance with relevant national requirements, implements the policy that “all diagnostic and treatment supplies are used by one person and disinfected after each use,” effectively preventing cross-infection and ensuring the quality and safety of medical care. The First Outpatient Department has more than 550 square meters of medical space. The waiting hall is spacious and bright, and the treatment environment is comfortable and quiet. The registration and payment system is connected to the main hospital, with unified fee standards, and the department is a designated medical institution for publicly funded medical care and medical insurance in Jiangsu Province and Nanjing.
