Fifth Outpatient Department
The Fifth Outpatient Department of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School (Nanjing Stomatological Hospital) is located in Jianye District, an internationalized new district in central Nanjing, covers an area of 738 square meters, and adheres to the service philosophy of “patients first and the pursuit of excellence,” wholeheartedly providing the general public with safe and efficient oral medical technologies and services. Since officially commencing operations on May 1, 2014, the Fifth Outpatient Department has remained committed to extending the high-quality medical resources of a Grade III Class A specialized stomatological hospital to Jianye District and implementing the same-quality management as the main hospital. The outpatient department currently has more than 10 medical and nursing staff members, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians, and 4 attending physicians; the medical and nursing team is highly professional and clinically experienced. It is equipped with 11 comprehensive dental treatment units and first-class instruments and equipment from China and abroad, including a dental digital intraoral scanner, digital dental radiography unit, implant machine, painless anesthesia device, LED light-curing unit, electronic root-canal working-length measurement device, and nickel-titanium root-canal treatment device. All oral materials used are products of globally renowned companies. To make things convenient for people in surrounding areas and provide high-quality convenience services, the medical and nursing staff of the Fifth Outpatient Department have repeatedly used their rest time to leave the department and go into communities, schools, and office buildings, publicizing oral hygiene knowledge to teachers, students, residents, and staff, promoting the concept of oral health, conducting oral examinations, and organizing large-scale free clinic activities.
