Center Overview The Health Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University was established in September 2003; it is the earliest specialized, one-stop health examination (management) center in Chongqing. It currently has health examination facilities at both the Yuanjiagang Campus and the Jinshan Campus, with a total area of 7715 square meters. Relying on the hospital’s strong comprehensive strength, the Center integrates health examinations, chronic disease management, and health promotion. It provides health consultation, specialized-disease management, and MDT multidisciplinary clinics. Its work in discipline development, health examination quality control, chronic disease management, and health promotion is all at the forefront of the domestic industry. It has been nominated for the “China Hospital Best Specialty Fudan Ranking” for seven consecutive years. II. Professional team and complete facilities Expert team: 171 full-time staff members, including 11 with senior professional titles and 20 with associate-senior professional titles; 7 master’s supervisors, 6 medical doctors, and 28 medical masters; 7 members of national-level academic societies, and 3 directors and deputy directors of provincial- and municipal-level academic societies; 3 editorial board members and peer-review experts for national-level journals, and 2 editorial board members for provincial- and municipal-level journals; 11 experts from the Chongqing Health Examination Quality Control Center. Intelligent platform: Equipped with advanced radiology, laboratory testing, ultrasound, and other equipment, and sharing the Molecular Medicine Testing Center and big-data analysis platform with clinical departments. 2. Wide-ranging service coverage: Health examination services include health examinations, pre-employment and pre-enrollment examinations, civil servant examinations, female-soldier examinations, examinations for going abroad, and cadre examinations; health management includes disease notification and follow-up, personalized management, health consultation, health management clinics, health lectures, specialized-disease management clinics, MDT clinics, and post-examination medical consultation services; other services include integrated physician-and-nurse health science popularization, Nightingale volunteer services, public health emergency skills training, final review of civil servant examinations, final review of college entrance examination health examinations, final review of driver examinations, and judicial appraisal. 3. Innovative configuration of personalized programs: Covering general examinations in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, radiology, and other specialties; strictly following the Expert Consensus on Basic Items for Health Examination; and having a multidisciplinary expert team customize personalized health examination and chronic disease management plans. 4. Precise health management Featured subspecialties: Focusing on chronic disease management, management of common diseases in older adults, functional medicine, health examination big data, and artificial intelligence, and offering innovative services such as the “Smart Pulmonary Nodule MDT Clinic” and “Full-Process Post-Examination Management.” Quality-control model: A standardized quality-control process has been established. Over the past three years, the real-name health examination rate has been 100%, and the rate of handling major positive results has been 100%. IV. Wisdom Converges in the Medical Grove, Building Research and Nurturing Talent Together Talent development: The Center is a master’s degree authorization point for Health Management under Clinical Medicine and has trained 4 cohorts of clinical medicine master’s students in 5 directions, including chronic disease risk assessment; it has been approved as the Chongqing Health Management Specialist Nurse Training Base. Academic research: In recent years, it has obtained 8 national-level projects, including projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 15 provincial-/ministerial-level projects; it has published multiple high-level papers, including many with impact factors above 50, in internationally renowned medical journals. It has published multiple textbooks and monographs, as well as dozens of high-quality teaching papers. Academic exchange: Over the years, it has actively organized dozens of national-level study courses and academic conferences, including “Western Forum on ‘Health’” and the “National Standardized Training Program for Chief Physicians of Health Examinations.” V. Enthusiastic Public Welfare, Fulfilling Social Responsibilities Alliance development: Took the lead in establishing the Southwest Health Management Specialty Alliance and promoted regional medical collaboration.
