Diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and acute myocardial infarction (known in traditional Chinese medicine as “chest impediment and heart pain”), as well as coronary stent intervention (PCI); approximately 200 coronary intervention procedures are completed annually. The primary area of development is minimally invasive intervention for structural heart diseases such as valvular heart disease. Special expertise includes integrated Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and patients after stent procedures, with emphasis on combining traditional Chinese medicine pattern-based treatment with standardized Western medical treatment to help patients improve symptoms, control risk factors, and reduce the risk of recurrence.
