Has extensive experience in pediatric and geriatric anesthesia; anesthesia for liver and kidney transplantation; operative anesthesia and emergency care for critically ill patients; and the implementation and promotion of painless, comfort-focused care. Also has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating chronic pain, including lower back and leg pain, bone and joint pain, shoulder periarthritis, trigeminal neuralgia and postherpetic neuralgia, as well as cancer pain. Has well-developed expertise in advanced techniques such as intrathecal analgesia and spinal cord stimulation.
